Our Team

Robert P. Davidson, Ph.D. (President of RPD. Inc.) is the author of numerous multimedia electronic documents, as well as six acclaimed books in data communications. He has over twenty years experience with telecommunications sales, marketing and engineering with companies as diverse as AT&T, General DataComm and Bell Telephone Laboratories. Bob is a Senior Member of the IEEE, a recipient of the IEEE Computer Society's Golden Core Award, past member of the editorial board for Spectrum Magazine, and past chairman of the IEEE Computer Society International Test Conference. Bob is also very active in community affairs. He is the President of the Rotary International Club of Cheshire, a member of the Cheshire School/Business Partnership, Referral Net and other local and state organizations such as the Cheshire Chamber of Commerce and the Waterbury Chamber of Commerce.

Barbara Sussman Goldberg, Ph.D. (Vice President-Marketing) represents RP Design in New Jersey. She has over two decades of experience in tele/datacommunications, principally with AT&T. In addition to her business activities, Barbara is President of the Women's Political Caucus of NJ, a founder and past Chair of the Somerset County Cultural Diversity Coalition, on the board of directors of the Nai-Ni Chen Dance Company, member of Leadership New Jersey, and recipient of a "Woman of Distinction" Award by La Tribuna. Barbara received her Ph. D. in Linguistics from Columbia University and is the co-editor of an international linguistics volume as well as co-author of several e-books on datacommunications.

Patreena Parsons (Director of Web Development) technically manages the overall programming of our web site applications. She is a hands-on developer, constructing and maintaining website forms and form/database interaction. She also implements website search engines and statistical analysis and reporting for Website traffic. Patreena has a Master's Degree from Cornell University and is knowledgeable in several database programming languages and statistical software tools, including MySQL and PHP.

Amy Cole (Art Director) is responsible for creating and programming the design and layout of all of our web site projects. She also creates all of our marketing materials such as print advertisements and postcards. She creates all graphics and Flash animations used in our projects as well as oversees the updates and maintenance of the web sites once the initial design is complete. Amy has a Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design from Paier College of Art, and is fluent in HTML, Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, CSS, and JavaScript.

Jason Woofenden (Developer/Systems Administrator) brings years of experience programming (C/C++ PHP, SQL, Perl, Forth...) to our development team. He creates programming tools and office-wide information systems and works with other developers to deliver database solutions through the web. He also sets up and maintains web servers and the office network.

Svetoslav Markov (Developer/Systems Administrator) has a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Central Connecticut State University and is pursuing a Master's Degree in Computer Information Technology. He has launched a start-up web company in his native Bulgaria so he is familiar with web development and Linux/Windows administration of web, mail, DNS and SQL servers. He has experience in PHP, MySQL and object oriented Java programming.

Alan Davidson (Director of Sales) has over fifteen years of business experience in marketing and sales working for diverse companies such as General Electric and Schrader-Bridgeport. Alan holds a Bachelor's degree in business marketing from Central Connecticut State University. He also has a degree in Computer Information Systems from Central Piedmont Community College where he graduated with high honors and was a member of Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society. Alan directs our web services team in Charlotte, North Carolina. He is an active member in the Charlotte Chamber of Commerce, Business Network International and Mecklenburg County South Rotary Club.

Milen Savov (Developer) is a member of the programming team. He has graduated from the Technical University of Sofia, Bulgaria with a Bachelor of Science degree in computer engineering and is taking a Master of Science course in the same field and university. He is fluent in supporting server software and building dynamic web sites based on PHP/MySQL. Milen is also familiar with C/C++, Pascal/Delphi, Java, Perl and Assembler languages and hardware. Milen works for the company via the Internet, from his homeland.

Kevin Davidson MBA (Marketing Manager) has over 10 years experience in sales, marketing, and project management. Kevin is a graduate of Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing. Kevin is a former member of Toastmasters International where he achieved the designation of Competent Toastmaster and Competent Leadership Award.

David Girardin (Systems Administrator) is currently pursuing his Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Technology, with specialization in networking. He has experience in C, PHP, MySQL, and Java. He specializes in configuring and securing Linux servers and the associated software. He is responsible for maintaining servers across the network.
